5 Days Dove & Perdiz *
In ACRUX HUNTS we specialize in mixedbag wingshooting in Uruguay. Our hunts offer the best perdiz hunting over dogs in South America and fantastic unlimited dove shooting. Available from May 1st. through July 31. Perdiz hunting is done over very well trained pointing dogs with no more than 2 hunters per dog. The daily limit per hunter is 10 in a leisurely morning hunt.Hunters usually trade off on dog points so that everyone gets a great opportunity to get their own limits. Perdiz hunting is almost always one bird at a time, although 2-3 birds on a single point sometimes happens.
After the morning perdiz hunt, you will have a superb lunch either in the field or at the Estancia. After lunch, you can take a siesta, read, or discuss the morning hunt till mid-afternoon when we head out to shoot doves on one of many superb roosts. Doves fly in unbelievable numbers and bags of 200-400 per gun are typical in a 2-3 hour hunt.

5 days Dove Hunting Trip *
Uruguay Dove Hunting trips cant be tell, you have to experience them yourself.
You will hunt roosts, flyways, and feeding fields and will see an unbelievable number of birds. No limit on doves in Uruguay so you may shoot as many as you wish or as many as your shoulder can stand.

Fishing and Hunt
ACRUX HUNTS OUTFITTERS is happy to offer you any fishing trip you want in our wonderful country, and the Golden Dorado is certainly at the top of the list for the dedicated fisherman.
Fishing for Golden Dorado, Uruguay's top fresh water game fish, is available as an addition to our hunts or as a special trip. Golden Dorado are fierce fighters and can weigh well over 20 pounds.
The fishing venue is on the Rio Uruguay near the town of Salto, a popular resort town featuring hot springs and spas. You will fish from boats with an experiences guide who provides tackle, baits and lures, lunch, and beverages. You will stay in a comfortable lodge or hotel near Salto. Meals and beverages at the lodge are included.
Dates are flexible according to your desires and schedule. This is a truly custom trip. Please tell us what you would like and we will develop a schedule and costs.
Countryside Adventures *
Enjoy the spirit of Gauchos Stylelife, such as horseback rides or Cattle Handling , walks through the wilderness, or drives in special vehicles – Jeep Willys, tractors, carriage – to selected places such as the windmill, the ponds, and the quarries… birds and fauna sightings all in the Estancia property… Nature and countryside are waiting for you. Nice way to relax after an exciting hunt.
